A ‘Drinkable’ Non-Alcoholic Beer For Beer-Lovers? The WSJ Says Yes

It often tastes awful, or at the very least, nothing like regular beer. But Clausthaler’s new Amber Dry Hopped near-beer, which includes the addition of Cascade hops, may be the exception.

When The Wall Street Journal’s Senior Deputy Editor Emma Moody was presented with the beverage by a WSJ writer, her response was: “It tastes like beer … it’s definitely drinkable.”

And that’s about as high a praise as a non-alcoholic beer can get.
