Most men we know tend to have pretty uncomplicated beauty routines: they’ll wash their face in the shower, shave, and apply some sort of hair product, and for many, that’s the extent of it. But HuffPo recently surveyed the women in their Facebook and Instagram communities and found out the beauty treatments they wished their husbands, fathers, friends, or sons would do more regularly. Unsurprisingly, concerns about grooming and skincare protection topped the list.
Here is their top six:
- Trim long nose and ear hairs.
Investing in a good trimmer is all it takes to get either situation under control.
- Clean up unruly eyebrows.
You definitely don’t have to have a standing appointment at the salon, but unkempt eyebrows can have an effect on a man’s appearance. One woman said her husband’s unruly, bushy eyebrows often make him look angry even when he’s not – and since he works in sales, it’s not a good thing.
There’s not need to buy fancy scrubs or face products, just something simple to slough away the dirt, debris and dead skin cells.
- Apply daily moisturizer and sunscreen.
Hydrate and protect your skin by applying a moisturizer with SPF.
- Wear eye cream.
If you don’t feel comfortable making this purchase, just use you wife’s or girlfriend’s. Trust us, it’ll make you look younger and more rested.
- Take better care of nails and feet.
This involves applying lotion, clipping long nails and, of course, scrubbing your feet. Don’t forget to get in between those toes, too!
